REVIEW: Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara Waterproof

Travel-sized Better than Sex Mascara
~AG~ Bought this travel-sized version of Waterproof Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara from Sephora for Euro 11-12 (SGD 18). This highly raved Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara is a volumizing mascara with an hourglass-shaped brush. It claims to volumize, lift and coat every lashes. This waterproof has water-resistant polymers for sweat-proof, waterproof and play proof wear. Since mascaras tend to smudge on me, I figured a waterproof version will be the safest one. This Too Faced mascara contains porcelain flower extract to moisturize and condition lashes. It also has unique peptides for deep, black lashes.

I had high hopes about this Too Faced Mascara because I heard good things from friends. I tried using it for the first time last week. I curled my lashes and then applied two coats of Too Faced Mascara. This mascara does volumize my short Asian lashes. It held the curls well, compared to Tarte, CoverGirl or Maybelline mascaras.

Unfortunately, Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara smudged to my lower eyelids in less than an hour. I was unpleasantly surprised by it. How could a waterproof mascara that claims to be sweat-proof and play-proof smudge to my lower eyes area in less than an hour? I wonder is it because of my under eye concealer? But I set my under eye concealer with a loose powder to matte it.

In conclusion, I would not recommend this Too Faced Better than Sex Mascara because it is not smudge proof. Even though it does volumize and darken my laskes, wearing this mascara has resulted in unwanted raccoon eyes for me. So a big NO for this waterproof mascara.

REVIEW: IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Corrector

~AG~
Bought IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Corrector in Medium US$29 (S$41) from Ulta Beauty when I was in the States last November. My younger sister, MG, said that I should check IT Cosmetics concealer out because of its raved review. So while browsing through Ulta Beauty, I thought this product was their best-selling concealer. Turns out it was the Bye Bye Undereye Corrector. Note to self: Remember to check the product name at checkout.
The tub packaging contains 5g of product. IT Cosmetics Undereye Corrector comes in 3 shades: Light, Medium and Rich. It contains collagen and peptides to smooth the skin around the eyes area. Green coffee extract, caffeine and cucumber to reduce eye puffiness. Since my Soap & Glory Kick Ass Concealer is empty, it is time to try a new concealer that is targeted for dark circles.

This corrector comes in a tub packaging, and contains a generous amount of product. I foresee this corrector lasting for more than six months, even with daily use. The texture of this corrector is super creamy, which reminds me of Bobbi Brown Corrector. Since my under eye area has been feeling dry, the texture of IT Cosmetics Corrector is suitable for my skin type. For those with oily skin type in Singapore's humid weather, you might need to set this product with a loose or pressed powder so that it would not smudge.

My under eyes area is prone to milia that is triggered by overly rich eye creams or concealers. I was worried that IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Corrector will trigger milia because of its creamy texture. After using it for over four weeks, no visible milia has appeared. Yay! My under eye areas definitely look brighter with the application of this corrector. This salmon-tone corrector helps to neutralize dark circles. It claims to be 8 hours of sleep in jar!

Overall, this is a good under eye corrector. It helps to disguise dark circles and brighten the under eye area. The texture of IT Cosmetics Corrector is smooth and so easy to apply with your ring finger. You only need a thin layer of product to conceal the dark circles. This tub of corrector is packed with product and should lasts me for more than six months. I highly recommend this Under Eye Corrector for those with dark circles and need a product to brighten the under eye area.

REVIEW: NARS Narsissist Hardwired Eye Kit

~AG~
Sleek mirror packaging
Comes with 6 eyeshadow shades
~AG~
This eyeshadow palette contains six neutral shades, and comes with a travel-sized brush and brown eyeliner. This purchase was a steal! It typically retails for S$80. But during Shiseido Warehouse Sale in December 2016, this NARS Narsissist Hardwired Eye Kit was selling for only S$40. So, why not try it? I have not tried NARS eyeshadow before, but have used NARS's eyeliner and lip pencil. The makeup artist that is doing my makeup for my wedding day has several NARS eyeshadow palette in his
This eyeshadow palette works well for day and nighttime looks. So far, I have only used the three shades - the two shades on the right side (IV and I) , and the light grey shade (V) on the middle top.

What can I say about NARS Narsissist Hardwired Eye Kit?
The eyeshadow is not as pigmented as other brands such as Urban Decay and Visee Nudy Rich Eyeshadow. Since I prefer a natural eye makeup, the darker colors in this eyeshadow palette will be untouched. The shimmers on the eyeshadow is finely milled, and does not irritate my eyes. The texture of these eyeshadow is not powdery and there is no fallout. It is a decent makeup. The only downside is that the eyeshadows are not pigmented enough, you have to apply several layers for the color to show up. So if you are looking splurge on some eyeshadows, I would not recommend NARS eyeshadow.
I and IV does not show up well on my skin tone
Mini Eyeliner in Via De'Martelli
For the mini Larger than Life Long-Wear Eyeliner in Via De'Martelli, it is a dark brown pencil eyeliner. Pencil eyeliner does not work well for my monolids, and tends to smudge. It especially, does not work well in Singapore's humid condition. This kit also includes a travel-size #43 Wide Contour Eyeshadow Brush. This densely packed angled brush blends and sweeps eyeshadow with ease.
Wide Contour Eyeshadow Brush
Overall, this was a great buy because I bought it at a discounted price. Though, I would not splurge for a NARS eyeshadow palette at full price. In terms of pigmentation, NARS eyeshadows are not up to standard. I would rather splurge on Urban Decay or MAC eyeshadows.

REVIEW: innisfree skinny microcara

~AG~

innisfree skinny microcara costs S$14.78. The reason I bought this mascara is because of the unique brush head. Most mascara on the market have a brush head with visible bristles, but innisfree skinny microcara does not have any bristles. I was curious on how this innisfree skinny microcara would work. Since I have short and sparse lashes, I tend to go for mascara that has volumizing and thickening effects. The brush is tiny and is great for those with short lashes. The 2.55 mm diameter micro brush coats even your shortest lashes. It is easy to use, as you press the mascara to the roots of your lashes and apply it in a zigzag pattern. This mascara comes in a waterproof and non-waterproof option. I thought I had bought the waterproof formula, but it does not say that on the packaging. Note to self: Double check your beauty products before paying for it. I was afraid that this innisfree skinny microcara would cause racoon eyes on me. Read on to find out if this innisfree mascara is smudge proof.

Most waterproof mascaras smudge to my under eye area, but this innisfree skinny microcara did not smudge at all. It stayed on well in Singapore's hot and humid weather. The brush is flexible and you use it to reach the roots of your lashes.  Even when you apply two or three coats of this mascara, your lashes will not clump. With that being said, this innisfree skinny microcara does not give much definition to the lashes. It is like wearing no mascara at all. For those looking for a mascara to thicken and lengthen your upper lashes, this is not the mascara for you. This is for those that want a no-makeup look - which is what the Korean beauty industry tries to achieve. innisfree skinny microcara can work well for defining the lower lashes. Overall, I would not repurchase this innisfree skinny microcara because I need a mascara that will help define my short and sparse lashes.

REVIEW: Physician Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum

24 hour of wear
~AG~

Bought this Physician Formula Eye Booster 2-in1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum while I was in the United States a few months ago. Target retails this eyeliner for US$9.63 (S$14). There are select Guardian stores in Singapore that carry Physician Formula products, but the pricing is not as competitive. Guardian Singapore is selling Physician Formula Eye Booster Eyeliner for S$29.90. Even when Guardian is having 20% off regular-priced items, the price of Physician Formula Eye Booster Eyeliner in Singapore is 70% more than that in the United States. The morale of the story is to ask your friends who are travelling to the States to buy it for you.
In  Ultra Black
According to Physician Formula, this special product enhances the appearance of lashes while providing definition an eyeliner. Lash Boosting Complex targets the base of the lashes where it is most effective. The eyeliner claims to be water-resistant and smudge-resistant. After using it for over a week, I can testify that this Physician Formula Eyeliner is definitely smudge-resistant. It stayed on for well over 8 hours. It did not smudge to my lower lash line at all. The water-resistant ability of Physician Formula Eyeliner is pretty good. The Physician Formula Eye Booster eyeliner did not smudge even though I teared up while watching a sappy Korean drama. The fine tip brush of the eyeliner creates a smooth and clean look. The pigmentation of the eyeliner is better than that of Clio Kill Brush Eyeliner. The shade I bought was in Ultra Black. The eyeliner is easily removed by using a oil-based makeup remover. Two cotton pads and one cotton bud will completely remove the eyeliner.
Fine tip brush
An affordable drugstore eyeliner that I would repurchase if I were in the States or have friends travelling there. The formula is long-lasting and pigmented. I cannot comment on the lash boosting properties, since my lashes are just as sparse. Other than that, I have nothing bad to say about Physician Formula Eye Booster 2-in-1 Lash Boosting Eyeliner + Serum.

REVIEW: Too Faced Peanut Butter & Jelly Eyeshadow Palette

  ~AG~

This is my second Too Faced eyeshadow palette in my collection. Many years ago, like in 2009, I bought a Too Faced eyeshadow palette. It was around the time when they were popular for their Natural Eye Neutral Eyeshadow that came in a boxed packaging.

This Peanut Butter & Jelly Eyeshadow palette was a birthday gift from a friend. First thing I noticed was the familiar scent of eye shadows. It really smells like PBJ! This palette contains 9 matte and shimmer shades that are inspired by peanut butter & jelly. The shades: Spread the Love, Peanut Butter, Peanut Butter Cup, Bananas, Peanut Brittle, Jammin, Extra Creamy, Jelly and Nuts About You. The eye shadows are infused with antioxidant rich cocoa powder. The palette comes with a handy booklet that shows you how to combine the shades.

REVIEW: Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer

Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer
~AG~

This Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer is my new makeup must-have! This sponge-tip applicator concealer is handy to have in your makeup bag. It is easy to use and great for on-the-go. Having been plagued with severe dark circles ever since I was a teenager, there is this never-ending quest to find THE perfect under eye concealer. I have tried more than 10 under eye concealers/correctors - Bobbi Brown Corrector, Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer, Cle de Peau Beaute Concealer, Laura Mercier Camouflage Concealer, Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage, Benefit Cosmetics Fakeup Hydrating Under Eye Concealer, Benefit Cosmetics ErasePaste, YSL Touche Eclat and many more.

After trying a few other concealers at Sephora, the saleslady there recommended Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer. The shade she selected for me is Light Medium which has peach undertones. The saleslady mentioned that Too Faced Radiant Concealer contains Coconut Water which replenishes skin's moisture level. She noticed that my under eye area was dry and said that this concealer would be suitable for my skin type, as it also contains Hyaluronic Acid. When she tested Too Faced Radiant Concealer on my under eye areas, it matched my skin tone well and did not accentuate my dry patches. The texture of this concealer is not thick at all. It has a lightweight consistency and does not feel creamy.
The true test of this concealer was whether this Too Faced Concealer will stay on well in Singapore's humid weather. Surprisingly, Too Faced Radiant Concealer was long-lasting. It did not crease in Singapore's hot and humid conditions. Even after 8 hours of wear, the concealer did not crease nor did it melt off. I put 3-4 dots of concealer on each under eye area, and then blend it with my ring fingers. I do not even use a powder to set the concealer, and it lasts all day! True to its claims, my under eyes area does not feel dry at all. It also contains Alpine Rose to brighten and boost skin's radiance. This concealer has medium coverage and works great for covering dark circles and minor blemishes. It blends well into the skin and creates a smooth finish.

Too Faced Born This Way Naturally Radiant Concealer is available in 10 shades. It comes with 0.7 ml of concealer and retails for US $28 (S$40). It is a rather expensive price tag for a concealer but you only need little product to cover your blemishes and dark circles. I highly recommend this concealer to those that have dry under eyes area or have dry skin. The lightweight texture is long-lasting and looks natural.

REVIEW: MAC Cosmetics Pro Long Wear Paint Pot in Vintage Selection

MAC Paint Pot in Vintage Selection
It comes in a glass packaging
~AG~

Discovered this cream eye shadow by MAC Cosmetics when I was in university. This long-lasting cream shadow comes in an array of colors. MAC Cosmetics offers matte as well as shimmery finish. This MAC Paint Pot costs US$22 (S$30) for 5 g of product. MAC Paint Pot claims to last for 15 hours without flaking or caking. MAC also claims that Paint Pot is water-resistant.
I would describe the color as a bronze pink
This cream shadow is simple to use. For a fuss-free way, simply use your fingers. You can also use a brush to apply the cream shadow. The texture of the cream shadow is smooth and not too soft. It does not crease even in Singapore's humid climate. It is highly pigmented and does not fade away throughout the day. Vintage Selection (A33) is described as a frosted dirty peach. But I would describe it as a bronze with pink undertones. The color is beautiful and flatters my medium skin tone. This shade is great for everyday day use. It brightens my eye area with its fine shimmers. The shimmers in Vintage Selection did not irritate my eyes.  Yay! Some shimmery Korean eyeshadows such as Etude House or Espoir for some reason irritate my eyes.

I would totally recommend MAC Cosmetics Paint Pot to anyone that is looking for a long-lasting eyeshadow for everyday use. It is so easy to use, and great for on-the-go! I would not hesitate to check out the other selections from MAC Paint Pot.
After wiping the area with tissue, there was still an ample amount of cream eyeshadow

NEW BUY: Bobbi Brown Dark Brow Kit & Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner Duo Set

~AG~

Bobbi Brown Dark Brow Kit (S$62)
This eyebrow kit includes a mini Tweezer and mini Brow Bush. The shades, Saddle and Mahogany, are for black and brown hair. One of my aunts who is good at doing her own makeup recommended this eyebrow kit. She said that Bobbi Brown's brow powders are more natural than the wax and powder combo of Benefit Cosmetics Brow Zings. It is pricey for an eyebrow kit. An innisfree eyebrow powder kit only costs less than S$20. Bobbi Brown's brown kit is THREE times the price of an innisfree brow kit! Hope the price tag is worth it!

Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner Duo Set (S$59)
This duo set includes the gel eyeliners in Black Ink and Sepia Ink, with a mini Ultra Fine Eye Liner brush. Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner is Bobbi Brown's bestselling product. This award-winning gel eyeliner is a staple of many makeup artists. While doing my eye makeup for an event, I realized that having a gel liner is critical when tight-lining the eyes. I was using a felt-tip liner and it took a while to tight-line my waterlines. Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner is not a new product. Previously, I had tried it when I was living in the States. But somehow, this gel eyeliner seemed to smudge off. However, last year, when a makeup artist used it on me on two occasions, this gel eyeliner did not run or smudge off at all. So, I am going to give this Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner another chance. *cross fingers*

Stay tuned for my review of Bobbi Brown Dark Brow Kit & Gel Eyeliner Duo Set!

REVIEW: Clio Waterproof Brush Eyeliner Kill Brown

Clio Waterproof Brush Eyeliner Kill Brown
You have to shake it before use
~AG~

Bought this Clio Waterproof Brush Eyeliner Kill Brown in Seoul, Korea. Forgot to take note of the retail price there. This Clio Brush Eyeliner is selling for S$22.90 in Watsons Singapore. This is a highly raved about eyeliner. I heard about the great staying power of this eyeliner many years back when Lee Hyori was Clio's brand ambassador.
Fine tip brush that is easy to use

Decided to go for a brown eyeliner because there are too many black eyeliners in my makeup collection. The first thing I noticed is that the brush tip is very fine and precise. It allows for better control, which is great for liquid eyeliner beginners. A brown eyeliner is less harsh than black eyeliner. However, some ladies might not like the super natural look. Brown eyeliner does not define the eyes as strongly as black eyeliner. Brown eyeliner works well for daytime, however it might not be suitable for nighttime or when a person is photographed. Clio Waterproof Brush Eyeliner lasts all day. The eyeliner stayed on my eyelids for more than 10 hours, with eyeshadow primer. This long-lasting eyeliner did not smudge to my lower eyelids. Even without eyeshadow primer, Clio Waterproof Brush Eyeliner has great lasting power - for up to 8 hours. Another great thing about this eyeliner is that it dries up quickly after application, in mere seconds. I do not have to worry about the eyeliner transferring to the crease of the upper eyelids. With some liquid eyeliners such as Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner, I had to keep my eyes closed for at least 10 seconds for the eyeliner to dry. Those 10 seconds felt so long. Even though Clio Brush Eyeliner Kill Brown has great lasting power, it is easy to remove with an oil-based eye makeup remover. No tugging on the sensitive skin around the eyes. Yay!

Even though this eyeliner has the word "Waterproof" in its name, I would not categorize it as waterproof. It does have some water-resistance properties, but if you are going for a swim or to cry your eyes out, this Clio eyeliner would definitely smudge. Another downside to this eyeliner is the lack of pigmentation. It could be because this is a brown eyeliner, but the color is not as intense. I had to go over the line two or three times to get sufficient color. Might have to try Clio Waterproof Brush Eyeliner in black to get a true comparison.
Top is a single line of the eyeliner, the bottom is three layers of the eyeliner
Eyeliner after contact with water and rubbing it.
Overall, Clio Waterproof Brush Eyeliner Kill Brown is one of my highly rated liquid eyeliners. For its price of S$22.90, this is one of the more affordable liquid eyeliners. In comparison with my other HG eyeliners (Kiss Me Heroine Make Smooth Liquid Eyeliner, Lancome Artliner and Marc Jacobs Magic MArc'er Precision Pen), Clio Waterproof Brush Eyeliner is ranked #2 on the list.

REVIEW: Etude House Lash Perm All Shockcara

Very girlish black and pink packaging
Chic packaging of Etude House Lash Perm All Shockcara
This mascara has a chic black and pink packaging. After reading online and YouTube reviews, I decided to purchase this Etude House Lash Perm All Shockcara. This is a waterproof mascara that claims to give volume, curl and length to lashes. Sounds too good to be true?

The first time that I wore this mascara, Etude House Lash Perm All Shockcara smudged to my lower eyelids within 3 hours. I was rather disappointed with the lasting power. But decided to give it another try before tossing it into the bin. During the second try, Etude House Lash Perm All Shockcara surprisingly did not smudge to my lower eyelids. The mascara stayed on well for more than 8 hours. You know how people always say third time is the charm? Well, during my third try, the mascara proved to be water-resistant but not waterproof. I wore this Etude House All Shockcara during my recent trip to Lombok, and put it through a swimming challenge. This mascara clumps up into fibers when it gets into contact with water. The good thing is that you do not get a raccoon-eye look, but rather random clumps of fibers on the under eyes area.
Short bristles wand
Bristles that are well separated to create definition
Besides that, this mascara does not provide dramatic lengthening properties. It gives my short and sparse Asian lashes some definition and volume. After curling my lashes with my HG Shiseido Eyelash Curler, Etude House Lash Perm All Shockcara holds the curl quite well. Overall, I would recommend this Etude House All Shockcara. It is relatively affordable at S$20, similarly priced to drugstore mascaras such as Maybelline and L'Oreal. For hygienic purposes, I replace my mascara every 6 months or so. So this Etude House All Shockara is easy on the pockets. I bought Etude House Shockara while I was in South Korea, but I can easily find it in Etude House stores in Singapore. For those in the States, you can purchase their products from Etude House website.

REVIEW: Visée Nudy Rich Eyes in BE-3

Visee Nudy Rich Eyes
~AG~
Prior to my trip to Tokyo, I have not heard about the Visee brand. From what I know, this brand is only available in Japan. Visee is the more affordable sub-brand of Kose. Visee's products can be found in drugstores around Japan.

This Visee Nudy Rich Eyes palette retailed at JPY 1,512 (S$18). Pretty steep for a drugstore eyeshadow palette. But what convinced me to buy this eyeshadow palette was the pretty colors. The five shades on this palette are all flattering for my medium skin tone. At first, I was unsure whether the lightest shades (the white and pink) will work on my skin tone, but it does! I LOVE the texture of this eyeshadows! It is
so creamy and glides on easily. There was little to no fallout from the eyeshadows!  I was super amazed by it!

The highly-rated Urban Decay Naked palette still have some falling out of eyeshadows during application, but Visee eyeshadows had none of that problem. Even though it is a powdered eyeshadow, it feels more like a cream eyeshadow. The shimmers on this eyeshadow are so finely milled, and does not irritate the eyes. Korean glittery eyeshadows from brands such as Etude House and Espoir tend to irritate my eyes. I am sorry to say, but Japanese eyeshadow > Korean eyeshadow. The only bad thing that I can say about this product is the brush/sponge applicator that comes with it. The brush side, especially, is too small to do anything. I prefer to apply my eyeshadows using my fingers.
From Top Clockwise: Beige, Light Pink, Cocoa, Light Brown and Peachy Pink

I will definitely recommend Visee Nudy Rich Eyes to anyone who is looking for a great everyday eyeshadow palette! I will love to try the other shades available from Visee.

REVIEW: Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer

Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer

~AG~
This highly-raved eye primer from Etude House has been part of my beauty kit for over two weeks now. This product was one of my must-buys from Etude House while I was in Korea. An affordable eye primer that I bought for ~ KRW 8,000 (~S$10). FYI: Etude House Singapore retails it for slightly more at S$12. This price tag is much cheaper compared to eye primer from brands such as Urban Decay, Too Faced or NARS. Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer is only one-third the price of my HG NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base, which retails for SS$35. You can get 3 Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer for the price of 1 NARS Smudge Proof Eyeshadow Base. Definitely a value-for-money product!
Sponge applicator

Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer comes in a plastic packaging with a rounded bottom. The packaging is more bulky compared to NARS. But it is still sleek enough to fit into my makeup bag. This flesh tone eye primer comes with a sponge-tip applicator. It comes with 10 g (0.35 oz) of product. While, NARS Eyeshadow Base comes with only 0.26 oz worth of product. Another point for Etude House Eye Primer!
Light pink shade but goes on colorless

Proof 10 Eye primer supplies coverage to eyelids, to enhance eyeshadow and to make it more longer-lasting. This eye primer helps keep my eye shadows and eyeliners in place for much longer. My eye shadow does not fade when I apply this eye primer underneath. Plus, it does not make my eyeshadows look powdery or ashy. Most eyeliners are prone to smudging on my oily eyelids, but this eye primer prevents my eyeliner from creating a racoon look. To further test its effectiveness, I used this eye primer with Etude House Play 101 Pencil, which is a creamy multi-purpose pencil that can be used as eye shadow and blush. Since creamy eyeshadows and eyeliners are more likely to smudge, this will be a great way to test whether Etude Proof 10 Eye Primer is able to keep eye makeup in place Without eye primer, Play 101 Pencil creases on my monolids within an hour or two of application. But it stays on well with the use of Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer!

I would totally recommend this eye primer. It is effective, and yet it is affordable. For those that have problems with their eyeliners smudging or eyeshadows fading, Etude House Proof 10 Eye Primer would be a good addition to add to your makeup bag.

NEW BUY: Visée Nudy Rich Eyes in BE-3

Visée Nudy Rich Brown
Five beautiful shades
~AG~

Bought this eyeshadow for JPY 1,512 (S$18) during my trip to Tokyo. While traveling on the subway, I noticed the flattering brown hues that Japanese ladies put on their eyelids. I realized that the Japanese ladies love natural warm eyeshadows for everyday use. Instead of using black eyeliners to line their eyes, they prefer using brown eyeshadows to line the eyes. It gives a nice soft makeup look. This convinced me to find a beautiful brown eyeshadow palette in Japan. Happened to see this brand, Visèe, at the drugstore. It is one of the brands under the Kose group. Actually, I have never heard about Visèe before. I'm not that familiar with Japanese beauty products as I am with Korean beauty brands. But decided to try this because the colors were lovely, and the price was quite reasonable. It is pricier than regular drugstore eyeshadow such as Maybelline, L'oreal and such. On a side note: Gosh, it has been a long time since I purchased drugstore eyeshadow. The last one I purchased was  L'oreal Infallible Eyeshadow about three years ago. Ever since that, I have been sticking to higher-end eyeshadows such as my favourite Urban Decay Naked Palette.

Shimmery eyeshadows

The palette comes with five shades - white, pink, peachy pink, brown and cocoa. When I swatched the colours in the drugstore, it was pigmented and not too glittery. It does have shimmer but not overdone. This will be a great eyeshadow palette for everyday use. The colors are soft and un-intimidating. Too bad that the descriptions are all in Japanese. I cannot wait to try these pretty shades. I will let you all know how well this eyeshadow works for my medium skin tone, and also comment on its staying power. Stay tuned!
