REVIEW: COS-RX Acne Pimple Master Patch

This Acne Pimple Patch from COS-RX is a highly raved product. This is one of the best-selling products from COS-RX. Was introduced to this product by YouTuber, Joan Keem. One sheet contains 24 patches of various sizing. There are 3 different sizing available based on your needs.

Bought this COS-RX Pimple Patch online as you can get a cheaper price at S$2.5-3, when there is a discount. It usually retails for KRW 3,500 (S$4.50) in Korea.

Confessions: I have gone through 10 sheets of this COS-RX Pimple Patch. It has become one of my skincare must-haves! I always carry it around everyday in my skincare pouch. Whenever I see or feel a pimple appearing, I will stick on the COS-RX Pimple Patch. It works well to prevent me from constantly touching my emerging pimples. What I like about COS-RX Pimple Patch is that it disguises angry, red pimples. It absorbs the gunk from whitehead pimples and helps dry out pimples.

The COS-RX Patch is also useful for pimples that have been popped. I tend to pop my whitehead pimples at night, and then use the Pimple Patch overnight. It stays on well, compared to Nexcare Acne Patch. I do not have any problem with it peeling off. There will be a lot of residue on the patch the next morning. It treats breakout by eliminating bacteria and infection. Super highly recommend COS-RX Pimple Patch to anyone who has the occasional breakouts or the frequent breakouts.

REVIEW: NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

 ~MG~

This NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer US$29 (S$39) comes with a sponge applicator. This concealer is very GOOD! One sponge tip amount is enough for concealing both eyes. I use the "inverted triangle" method for concealing my dark circles. NARS Concealer provides a medium to high coverage. The texture is creamy and rather smooth. Compared Cle de Peau, NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is creamier. This NARS concealer is easy to use and to blend. The color match was perfect in concealing my blue tone dark circles. With setting powder, it can lasts through the night. It does not crease or melts off in Singapore humid's weather. The packaging makes it super easy to travel with. If you use the concealer daily, NARS creamy concealer will probably lasts for more than six months.

When I am in a hurry to get ready, I will use this  handy concealer. It is a light concealer that disguises my dark circles. Though I won't say it truly brightens the under eye area. I also use it to conceal my acne marks and redness when I am too lazy to reach for other concealers. It works well for concealing redness, but cannot fully conceal my acne scars. I will definitely recommend. One of the best concealers I have used. Even though it has a heavy price tag, it is worth your money - easy to use and blend, generous with the product and is well-pigmented. NARS offer a wide range of colors for the Radiant Creamy Concealer, so find one that suits you!

REVIEW: Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentrè

It comes with a box packaging
75 ml version
~AG~

Wrote about Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentrè a while back ago, and finally got around to trying it. While researching online on the must-buy beauty products from French pharmacies, Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentrè appears on almost all articles that I read. This French product is popular for being an affordable moisturizer that is a beauty staple for makeup artists and models. Embryolisse offers the Lait Crème Concentrè in a 30ml and 75ml packaging. This multi-function nourishing moisturizer retails for Euro 16.90 (S$28) for the 75 ml version. Been using this moisturizer for about a month now. So what are my thoughts about this highly raved French product?

This product claims that it can work as a moisturizer, makeup-primer and moisturizing mask. It is supposedly suitable for all skin types. The moisturizer comes in a squeezable foil packaging. The packaging reminds me that of a toothpaste. This packaging is not as convenient for traveling as it might be prone to leakage/spillage. The wide mouth of the packaging may also cause excess of product to be squeezed.

Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentrè works surprisingly well for Singapore's humid weather. I thought this French moisturizer would be too thick for the tropical climate. However, the moisturizer is absorbed quickly into the skin and does not heavy feel at all. The moisturizer has a light cream texture, and feels watery. My combination skin feels hydrated after application. Compared to Laneige Water Bank Essence, Lait Crème Concentrè is much more moisturizing. My skin gets especially dry when I travel, and Lait Crème Concentrè helps to soothe my dehydrated skin. My sensitive skin did not have any adverse effects from this moisturizer. No breakouts, no redness and no bumps were noticed. A win for this product.
The soft texture of the cream
Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentrè is more affordable than Laneige Water Bank Essence which costs S$44 for 60ml of product. 75 ml of the moisturizer can lasts me about 2 months. I cannot wait to stock up on Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentrè when I am in Europe. A highly recommended product to buy from European pharmacies. It will work well for those with combination/acne-prone/normal skin types.

REVIEW: Biore Eye & Lip Makeup Remover

~AG~ This popular makeup remover from Biore has been in my beauty arsenal for over 5 months now, and there is still one-third of product left. Bought this Biore Makeup Remover from Guardian for S$12.90. Drugstore makeup removers are my favorites, as they work just as well as high-end makeup removers. This 150ml of makeup remover can be used to remove eye makeup as well as lip makeup. Its micro cleansing formula soften waterproof makeup for easy removal. Biore Makeup Remover is gentle on the eyes and lashes, which reduces the need for excessive tugging and wiping around the eye area. It contains hyaluronic acid to keep skin around the eyes moisturized. Like other waterproof makeup removers in the market, Biore Makeup Remover has a dual-phase content (there is an oil content and an aqueous content). Even though it is a dual-phase remover, it does not leaves an oily residue.

First, you have to shake the bottle well to mix the dual phase. Then, I usually use 2 cotton pads to remove my long-wearing eyeliner and waterproof mascara. It is best to leave the soaked cotton pad on for 5 seconds to melt the waterproof makeup before gently wiping it away. Biore Makeup Remover does not sting or irritate the eyes.

I like Biore Eye & Lip Makeup Remover so much that I recently repurchased it. The makeup remover is easy-on-the-pockets, and a bottle can lasts for at least six months. I typically use waterproof eye makeup two to four times a week. A highly recommended drugstore product!
