REVIEW: 3 Concept Eyes Lip Lacquer Super Coral

~AG~
I bought this 3CE lip lacquer when I was in Taiwan. I cannot remember exactly how much I bought it for, but it was less than USD $15. I was really looking forward to try it because my sister, MG, said their lip products are popular. I decided to go for Super Coral because the orange-pink shade looks beautiful.

So what are my thoughts on this lip lacquer. I absolutely do not like it.
Why?
1) The color does not go on smooth. You have to scrub and moisturise your lips well before putting this on.
2) It is so drying and causes my lips to flake like crazy.

This makes it a not user friendly lip product for me. I like lip products that are moisturising enough on its own, without the need for lip balm beforehand.

This lip lacquer comes with a sponge tip applicator. The tip is slightly angled for a more precise application.

Even though this lip lacquer is well-pigmented and the shade is nice, you have to prep beforehand to have a nice application which is such a hassle. I will not recommend this product. It is not worth the money. They are lip products that are more worth the money such as Stila and NARS.

REVIEW: Chanel Rouge Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Color in Peregrina (78)

~AG~

A modern interpretation of classic creme lip colour as an homage to the rich life and legacy of 'Coco' Chanel. Lightweight lip colour glides on for easy application, and features a Hydratendre complex to help soften, soothe and condition lips - even boosting their ability to hold in moisture -for a plumper, smoother and healthier-looking appearance. A range of wearable shades with full-coverage finishes, from matte to pearl to soft shimmer.

I actually bought this Rogue Coco Hydrating Creme Lip Color two years ago. I wanted a nude lip color that will not make me look too washed out. Because it was too beautiful, I have only used it once or twice. After trying quite a few of Chanel Coco Rogue, the saleslady suggested Peregrina (78) which is a coral nude shade. I liked how it looked on my yellow-beige skintone.

Recently, I have decided to start using it. It is a wearable shade that is great for everyday use. The texture of the lipstick is rather dry, so I usually apply my Rosebud Salve lip balm before the application of the lipstick. The picture shows just one swipe of the lipstick on top of my lip balm, it has a rather sheer texture. Without the lip balm, it has a semi-matte finish.  It retails for USD $35 which is pricy for a lipstick. I do like the shade but I do not like the dry texture and the fact that it is not very pigmented. The staying power is average - 2 or 3 hours. It wears off when eating and drinking. To sum it up, I will not re-purchase Chanel Coco Rogue Hydrating Creme Lip Color because they are more affordable and more pigmented lipstick in the market.

REVIEW: Etude House Sweet Recipe Dear My Jelly Lips-talk

~AG~
The shade that I bought is Grapefruit Jelly which is a peach-pink color. The bright shade was what attracted me to this product. Plus, the packaging is just too cute. A sleek white packaging with little pink/coral details on the bottom. The lipstick is also embossed  with heart designs.
I bought it from Etude House Singapore for (S$17.50).
The formula of the lipstick is rather thick. For those with dry lips, it is best to apply lip balm beforehand. I find that it does not go on smoothly, as it tends to flake on the lips. The wear is average - about two hours with eating and drinking. It is not very pigmented but the shade does show up on my lips. I wear it on days when I want to brighten my face.
Overall, it is not a good lipstick and I would not recommend it. I would not re-purchase it.
